Building on the success of previous editions, CININTEL 2001 - IV International Telecommunications Infrastructure Congress will be held from Nov.26-30, 2001 at the Rafain Palace Hotel, in Foz do Iguaçu - Paraná/Brazil. This Congress will maintain the highest technical level that has made it the event of choice for those interested in the field of telecommunication infrastructure. The event will be made up of technical presentations (with simultaneous Portuguese-English-Portuguese translation), short-courses, panels discussions, it will count with the participation of well known personalities both national and international.

Responding to participant's suggestions from the previous edition, we are presenting once again the Workshop of Electrical Sector "Telecommunication Infrastructure for Integration and Operation of Utilities Technical and Commercial Systems". This workshop is going to be held simultaneously with the main activities of CININTEL 2001.
